SEEKING SUNDAY FARMERS MARKET STAFF

Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to sell our delicious and humanely raised chicken, duck and pork at our Sunday Farmers Market (8-1pm).
$13-$15/hr (depending on experience) + % of sales

Responsibilities include:
-Organizing coolers then loading truck at the farm (in Pescadero) on Sunday morning, leaving by 6:00am to arrive at market (about 1 hour drive)
-set up stand and be ready to sell by 8am
-working hard to sell products from 8-1, WITHOUT being on your phone.
-take down stand, load truck and safely drive truck back to farm, unload coolers into freezer.-close out cash from the day

Ideal person:
-has a valid and clean CA drivers license
-can lift up to 50 pounds (minimally)
-is outgoing, friendly, warm, trustworthy responsible, communicative, & able to talk to customers clearly
-can commit to 6 months, even a year!

Experience:

Genuine interest in pasture-raised meats a HUGE plus
Experience in retail/sales/marketing is a bonus but we are more than willing to train the right person.
