Meet The Pigs

Our pigs live outside, happily romping and rooting in the pastures.

Diet

Our pigs eat grubs, grass and roots in the ground as well as organic vegetables and apples while supplemented with organic, non-GMO grain.

All of our pigs are contained by electric fence with solar chargers and mobile housing so that we can continuously move and rotate them around the pastures, improving their health and the health of the soil.

Breeds

We have successfully increased our breeding program on the farm and currently have 9 sows and 1 very lucky boar. Our sows are Betty (Berkshire x Hampshire), Sophie (Berkshire), Connie (Berkshire), Big Nut Brown Hare (Hereford x Tamworth), Little Nut Brown Hare (Hereford x Tamworth), Wendy Waddle (Red Wattle x Berkshire), Peppa (Berkshire), Dorothy (Berkshire), Lightning Diamond Sunshine (Berkshire x Old Spot) and our boar is El Novio (Berkshire).

Each of these breeds produce incredibly flavorful pork and thrive in our pasture setting. We have reached our goal - to raise all of our pigs from farrow to finish, right here on the farm.
