Spring Chicken
Its the middle of March and we quickly went from the heavy storms of winter to the bluebird days of spring, in just a few days. Those of us who spend a lot of our days outdoors are sensitive to the subtle changes of each shift of the seasons. For me, the shift into spring is always obviously defined. These mornings the sun rises a little brighter and warmer against the lush green pastures and sweet old barn. Theres a richness in the air, an excitement of new life and of a new season of growing. The chirps of baby chicks echoing in the hoop house, and the bright green buds pushing out of the apples trees. Its like you can lay in the pastures and watch the grass grow. Its spring.
Here we go!!
